Vomit on her lawn. Loud, drunk men from LA or Arizona who couldn’t care less about her 3-year-old’s sleep schedule. Drunk, screaming women on a bachelorette weekend, with party buses parked outside. A beer commercial filmed in the yard, and a sidewalk filled with 20 people shouting obscenities on a Wednesday night.
Dunaway, who has two young children, was one of dozens of San Diego-area homeowners pleading with a San Diego City Council committee on May 29 to regulate vacation-home rentals, especially in areas zoned solely residential. Many complained of a revolving door of strangers sullying their neighborhoods and creating safety concerns.
